The new clinic at GRH was designed and constructed on a fast-tracked schedule to help meet the demand for Victoria’s residents who do not have a family physician.
Repurposing an older wing of the hospital required significant infrastructure upgrades including major electrical upgrade, new communications services and distribution, new wireless network throughout the hospital, and replacement of video surveillance and access control head-end equipment.
The safety of staff and patients using the facility is enhanced by a fixed and wireless duress system, access controls, video surveillance and intrusion alarm.
