About Us

Evolve Engineering is an electrical engineering consulting firm that was incorporated in 2013 and is located in Victoria, BC. The firm is managed by two Principals, Nik Alcock and Lisanne Naeth, both of whom are established Professional Engineers with many years of experience.

Evolve’s business strategy and long-range plans are simple; we strive to provide high-quality engineering services through long-term relationships with local clients. Our core clients are the bedrock of our business and we ensure that they are the focus of our efforts. We do not pursue new ventures for the sake of corporate growth or profit chasing. We realize that the key to our success is our ability to attract repeat business from top-tier clients.

All our technical staff work locally in our Victoria office. Nik and Lisanne divide project management, administrative and operational tasks between them such that there is always a Principal ‘on duty’. This provides operational continuity during times of vacation, sick leave or heavy workload. Both Principals are actively engaged in technical design, project management and supervision of staff on all of Evolve’s projects.

Our corporate aspirations are to expand our capacity to serve our island-based clients. We remain committed to servicing local public sector clients.

Quality of work is very important in a healthcare environment. As such, Evolve has implemented an Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (EGBC) certified Organizational Quality Management System (OQM). Our OQM system ensures that all proposals and contract documents are vetted by a Principal before being released.

Evolve regularly attends the Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society (CHES) conferences. We enjoy the opportunity to socialize with clients, peers and suppliers and stay abreast of the latest developments in healthcare engineering. It provides an opportunity to discuss challenges in the industry and identify new products or approaches that help advance the quality of the services we provide.
